When history will be finally written, Prof Ngugi will be remembered for the input he has provided in the literary world. He remained steadfast to the quill even when it was unwise to do so. We might have misgivings here and there about how our politics were shaped and the role the good professor played (good or bad)but we need to be fair about the circumstances of the time.
