Salem Lorot is a Legal Counsel at the National Assembly of Kenya. He holds a post-graduate diploma in law from Kenya School of Law and LL.B from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. He is a Legislative Drafter. Through the laws he drafts, anything under the sun can be sanctioned; life's rigours assuaged and the affairs of man brought within the ambit of the law. He holds a certificate in Legislative Drafting from the Royal Institute of Public Administration, London. He is a Member of the Commonwealth Association of Legislative Counsel (CALC), Pan African Lawyers Union (PALU) and the Law Society of Kenya (LSK). He writes poetry for fun.
